Common questions

What is CLL? CLL is a slow-growing blood cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many abnormal lymphocytes. It is one of the most common adult leukaemias, often found on a routine blood test, and many people live well with it for years.

What is watch and wait? Active monitoring with regular blood tests instead of immediate treatment. Early treatment has not been shown to improve outcomes for people without significant symptoms, so treatment is saved for when it is genuinely needed.

Is MyCBC free? Every new account includes 30 days of full access free (no credit card). After that it rolls back to a free plan automatically — no auto-charge. Paid plans are USD $2.50/week or USD $99/year.

Important: MyCBC is a tracking and education tool, not a medical assessment. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always discuss your results and decisions with your haematologist or healthcare team.
